Divya swaroopini, it is vital for everyone should enquire into the true, the pure and the permanent. When obstacles come, meet them with courage. They harden you, make you tough. The best way to get rid of weakness is to strike at the very tap root of the tree-the mistake that you are body, with this name and this form, these senses, this intelligence and this mind.
Before today I am give to you a bandana or the blessing to represent to the world for me, by me, as my representative of goodness, faithfulness, honestness, truthfulness, helpfulness, graciousness, joyfulness, blessedness. Some have abuse this relationship by letting ego come forward as the first thing, some fool them selves that this mean they can march before devotees and say and do as they wish. Some claim to fame is that they are family or friend. This is not so. This is wrong. I give not to family or friend but I give to the devotee deserving, the devotee who open his eye and experience the hurt for the less fortunate. Some when they lose the privilege or not receive the material object they desire and some who look with envy at what others get, question the reality of what they see before them. Even this message will question by some that it is not Puttaparthi Sai but what is in the head of my son.
Ha! This is man today who now describe Sai as Puttaparthi Sai or Ottawa Baba or India Baba and so but they fail to remember that is not the robe that make me so. My message not to discriminate, not to be attach to form is ignore by the foolish who deny they are attached to materiality. They fail to look into the mirror from within, not without but they rush to judge. I want to remind you that blessed is the child who name has Rama in it. Blessed is the child who live the life of sacrifice that Rama show to man. Since the ancient times, the Rama Nama has been shining brilliantly in the entire length and breadth of the country of Bharat without undergoing any change. The asthikas (theists), nasthikas (atheists) and asthika nasthikas (theistic atheists) are all chanting the name ‘Rama’. For example, a person while getting up from his seat utters the name ‘Rama’. The Rama Nama is so popular in the daily life of people in Bharat. Not only here, even in China, Rama Nama has become popular. In fact, Rama Nama has spread to the entire world. Wicked is the motuh, wicked is the mind that think or say evil of anyone with this name. The aetheists disguise themselves as holy and display in public performance of japam all the while scheming how to fool the devotee not to be in worship. Remember what seta say to Ravana, “”Fie on you! You don’t even match the nail of the foot of Rama.”
One day a woman she tell to me that “Swami my husband is good man. He give charity all time and he provide for me and my children. He is good man.” That same husband continue to fool she with tears, with words that he is dear but he has no love only need. When I tell this she become angry and leave, she walk from what her heart desire into emptiness of promises. Promises are like the bubble that come from the soap water. Many are there, many are bigger but they burst and thwere is nothing there but air. Seeta sitting in Ashoka vana in Lanka, she was pondering, “Will I ever move out of this prison! Will I ever be able to see Rama! Oh! My dear brother-in-law Lakshmana!

Man may think he klnow what is best for he but man continue to walk away from what is suppose to be the joy of his life.
Soon seva daals will be issue with new banadanas. They will be task with a simple duty. A duty of service from the heart not for public display but for love. Instruction will come to each. Some will be angry and some will be happy but decision to not give bandana to some is as a result of your own action, selfishness, the inability to make that sacrifice is need when need. Each of you must remember that you do not require a banadana to do service.
Seva daals, you must understand the deep significance of service; it will lead to your becoming ideal leaders, who are in great need today, all over the world. You fulfil yourselves, by sharing; you empty yourselves by grabbing. Do not behave in such a way that people are wary of you. Be open, without harmful eyes, lascivious ears, false tongue, foul minds and pernicious hands. Your eyes give you away easily; look upon all without the guilt of lust or scandal; speak to all with love blooming out of adoration; let your hands give, never take what is not yours. Treat the distressed, the diseased, the old, the helpless, the child, with great respect and intelligent consideration.
Devotees, never forget that Service is the highest form of worship and the best penance.
