To my children,

Your devotion and prayer to God and me should not be for the sole purpose of obtaining something or fulfilling some desire of yours. It should be for the sake of securing the bliss of being close to the Lord and becoming one with Him.

Give me your luxuries and I wll return them ten-fold. Do not ask for this or that from Him in return for prayers you offer or the sacrifices you make. Do not calculate returns or plan for the consequences. Act, because you have to and since it is your duty. Dedicate the deed as well as its consequences to Him. That is real devotion.

As Swami says:
Let Me tell you one thing. However you are, you are Mine. I will not give you up. Wherever you are, you are near Me; you cannot go beyond My Reach. Know that I am always with you, prompting you and guiding you. I know also that you are aware of this. Live always in that Constant Presence.

Love and Truth are the two wings that take an individual forward. They will inspire you to serve all righteously and lovingly, just as you would serve the Lord. This is the highest form of spirituality. Pour the water of devotion to the tree of Sadhana, you will get the sweet fruit of Bliss.

Never forget that an able monarch will have his ministers under control; he will direct them along proper lines and maintain the peace and security of the kingdom. On the other hand, a monarch who allows himself to be controlled by his ministers does not deserve the throne; he is spurned and disgraced. His kingdom has no peace or security.

The mind is the monarch in man and the senses are the ministers. But, if the mind is enslaved by the senses, the individual knows no peace. Every Sadhaka (spiritual aspirant) who aspires to attain the Divine in him has, therefore, to earn mastery over the senses. That is the first step.

Remember that I have come to give you the key to the treasure of bliss, to tell you how to tap that spring, for you have forgotten the way of blessedness. Very few of you desire to get from me the thing I have come to give you, namely Liberation itself. I am the embodiment of bliss. Come, take bliss from me, dwell in that bliss and be peaceful. From this moment, avoid all bad habits; they do not contribute the least joy.

Give me your wants and I will give you your desires.
